Terms & Condition

Shuttle2home Terms and Conditions

By accessing our website or utilizing the Shuttle2home service, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms, we kindly request that you refrain from using our services. All shuttle service bookings must be made through our official website (www.shuttle2home.co.nz), by telephone, email, or other authorized communication channels.

Payment

Full payment must be made at least seven (7) days before your travel date. For bookings made within 72 hours of travel, immediate payment is required.

We accept payments via credit and debit cards. For online payments, we provide a secure payment link through ANZ VeriFone Eftpos NZ. A small surcharge applies for online payments, starting at 2.5%, depending on the card type. For payments made from outside New Zealand, a standard fee of $10–$20 may apply, depending on the card.

If you prefer to avoid surcharges, we can provide our company bank account details for direct transfers. Please notify us once the payment has been made.

All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST. A 20% surcharge applies to bookings on public holidays. If an incorrect quote is issued at the time of booking, Shuttle2home reserves the right to adjust and collect the correct amount prior to travel.

Standard rates cover transportation within a 5 to 10-kilometer radius. For distances beyond this range, an additional charge of $2.00 per kilometer will apply.

Changes, Cancellations, or Delays in Travel Bookings

Customers are advised to arrive at Auckland Airport at least three (3) hours prior to the departure of international flights and two (2) hours prior to domestic flight departures.

We recommend that passengers book their transfer at least 48 to 72 hours in advance to avoid any last-minute inconveniences.

Please notify us promptly of any changes to your travel plans. Shuttle2home is not responsible for delays or early arrivals of flights.

Please note that your booking reserves a dedicated time slot. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled travel will incur a penalty of 50% of the fare. Same-day cancellations will result in the full fare being forfeited, as resources have already been allocated for your trip.

If you need to reschedule, we will hold the payment as a credit for future use. To avoid cancellation fees, please provide notice at least 4 to 5 days in advance by emailing us. Please note that a $45 non-refundable amount applies to cover the time and costs associated with managing your booking and correspondence.

Shuttle2Home is not liable for delays caused by weather conditions, traffic disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Changes, cancellations, or refunds may be applied as necessary in such situations. Please note that shared rides may take longer due to multiple stops along the route. While exact travel times cannot be guaranteed, we are dedicated to ensuring a comfortable and reliable travel experience for all passengers.

Baggage Allowance Policy

Each paying passenger is allowed one 7kg  small carry-on and one large suitcase weighing up to 23 kg. Additional luggage must be pre-booked at $15.00 per item. Any excess luggage not pre-booked will incur a $20 fee per item, payable at the time of pick-up.

Oversized items, such as surfboards or bicycles, can be accommodated at $15.00 per item if pre-booked. Please notify us in advance, as we reserve the right to refuse unbooked items to ensure adequate space for other passengers’ luggage.

Passengers are kindly requested to assist with loading and unloading their luggage.

For oversized items, a prior reservation is required, with a fee of $20.00 (including GST). Large musical instruments, sports equipment (e.g., skis, golf clubs), travel trunks, bikes, and surfboards are not permitted. For such items, we recommend booking a private transfer.

Meeting Point

After clearing customs, turn left to the pre-booked shuttles meeting point, where the driver will hold a sign with your name. If you don’t see the driver, wait near the Vodafone or Spark store and do not leave the terminal. Please wait 10 to 15 minutes, and if the driver is still not there, give us a call or send a text.

Delays may occur due to busy parking, traffic, weather, or other unforeseen events. The driver will stay in touch if delayed. Once you arrive, text or call the driver with your contact number.

Notification Protocol for Van Delay

If the van does not arrive at the meeting point within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, it is the customer’s responsibility to promptly contact the company. Failure to do so will release Shuttle2Home from any liability for delays, issues, or additional costs.
